When I had a bad day at work, I used to watch Office Space.

I really need to get around to watching that sometime. I'd probably really enjoy it considering I actually work in an office.

... from a sixty year old slogan "Land of Rape and Honey" to boring "Opportunity Grows Here"

No joke, it's for real.

I've been there (Tisdale, SK) .. just down the road from Crooked River and Peesane, head north to get to Choiceland!
It's kinda funny, and it's true!

Jeff will probably chime in.. he lives in Sask. I think.

Nope. My brother Rob lives in Saskatoon. Used to live in Calgary like me though.

It's not outdated, this generation is just too stupid. It's not FITTING anymore, but only because of recent moronic issues. But that doesn't mean it's outdated. What? Rape decades ago wasn't looked at as a bad thing? Stupid stupid stupid. I hate this insistent pandering behaviour. "Well, most people nowadays will obviously read it and take it the wrong way so not only should we change the slogan, but we should call the old one 'outdated' so we can seem more like saints in their eyes." Why should the truth not only be ignored but replaced with falsehoods just to appease the idiotic? The idiotic should be called out and educated.

I was actually hoping to be playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided right now, but it isn't going to unlock until 1.30 am here in Australia. It won't let me install from the disc either as it has to wait until after the unlock time. Retail copies shouldn't have been released before this time if you can't install from the disc. Preloading is an option, but not a viable one for most of us down here.

A funny comment from a Reddit thread about the weird unlock times around the world:

Quote

As a PC gamer in the EU, I would like to invite whoever decided upon those unlock times to go and fuck themselves at their earliest convenience.

First world problems really, but still kind of irksome.

I was up late last night Playing The Beginner's Guide. That is the single most moving piece of art I've ever experienced. Physical tears. Really hit home for me.

Prices for Playstation Plus is increasing.

http://www.gamespot....mpaign=homepage

I had to sell my PS4 and all of my PS4 games. RIP consoles.

EDIT: I'm going PC only forever. When I get my ASUS Gaming PC back from repairs. I'm gonna sell it just to get his Occulus ready ASUS Gaming PC w/ an NVidia GTX 980. The PC I'm selling has an GTX 970 and I know Person of Color doesn't like the GTX 970 series w/ it's 3.5 and .5 GDDR5 GB VRAM. And I managed to sell my laptop w/ it's sound problems.

Last time I owned a console was the SNES.

If I was to ever make one last post before the BSN gets permanently locked tonight, I would post a video of this a few seconds before midnight.

Hello. I've got a little problem.
I've just graduated last summer, and now it's time to get some real job to do. My father's friend offered me a job, which is fine, but I also want to try another job, which is not connected with my family at all. I want to try this thing, but my parents don't want to me to do this. They said that this is not a respectable job, and everyday people hate this kind of men. So, I'm a littlle bit worried about this thing right now. I don't ask for any tips, but I wonder if somebody had the same problem as mine.

You've made it sound like the job you actually want is a Gigalo (aka Man-Hooker) or Male Stripper.
Generally, try to strike out on your own.. if you fail miserably then you can always fall back on the job that was given to you.

generally, i would recommend you do what makes you happy, not what makes others happy.

also as rob said, if it doesn't go as well as you want, it's okay to go back to your family with your tail between your legs and admit they were right. They might admonish you, but they won't turn you away.

If you're old enough to get a job you're old enough to decide where you want to work. That said, take some advice from your parents. You don't want to be making mistakes. But if you still want it, go for it.

Hey, folks. Could somebody tell me the exact establishment date of Apogee? Wiki says only the year, 1987. It also says that "Apogee started in 1987 with the release of Scott Miller's Kingdom of Kroz..." . I can not find exact date of Kroz release too. Thanks.

Scott may have published Kroz before incorporating Apogee. It may work best to find governmental records from the state of Texas.

I really hope this rumour about a PC release Red Dead Redemption is true. I know I'm not the only one who wants it to happen.

Dont you find it annoying when people use to say "I played this game again after many years and I remember it looking much better. It must be nostalgia goggles or something." I find it all bullsh*t. Most people are propably just peer-pressured to not admit they like old games.

It does happen. There's a few games that I hadn't played since childhood that I was surprised to find out years later how it looks worse than I remember. From the early 90's to the mid 2010's there was a slow, gradual, huge improvement in graphics and your memories can deceive you a bit.
