Let me get this straight, Stairway To Heaven came out in 1972 or something, and in 2014 someone noted similarities to their on work? How slow can you get? Did they never listen to the song (Stairway to..) until 2014 or did they finally find a good layer? Posted Image This smells like greed or in need for some extra cash.

The original author who they claim wrote the riff is now dead. This is his estate suing for years worth of royalties. Even if they did ''borrow'' ''steal'' or ''rip off'' the lick he let it slide then and never claimed it as his own while living, probably out of respect. Who knows, maybe he heard Jimmy playing around with a proto type to stairway and stole that in '69. Either way it's a bull shit case IMO, the three notes that sound similar are not enough to warrant any judges time let alone ours discussing it lol :D

Yes, and it's still forty years after the song was published. That's my issue.
By all means, claim your rights, but do it before you have died please.
What's next? Dvorak getting sued by Beethoven for seven notes? Posted Image

i'm referring to more than just one song - page (and zep) have been accused of, and on several occasions been found guilty of, stealing a lot of songs (and not just the ones listed at the end of the article I linked)

did page nik the bit from Spirit? Maybe yes, maybe no - but there's a lot of evidence and history that he has heavily "borrowed" or out-right stolen songs & bits before.

waiting forty years to plead your case? kinda stupid, and suspiciously sounds like greed.
doing it for Randy Wolfe's reputation? 17 years after he died? More flakey b.s. That's the candy shell coating over the greed turd.

I came across a Looney Tunes DVD the other day where it had some advisory on it that some of the cartoons on the disc were for adults and not intended for children. I found that quite amusing

they still aired all the "non-pc" stuff back in the 70s, so i had the pleasure of seeing that on my tv a few times, along with the cartoons containing blackface & other stereotypes.

Putting Flash on maximum performance mode seems to fix my buffering issues. I remember having to put in firewall tweaks to block Youtube's caching service, etc, but this is a lot easier to do. Not sure why this works on Youtube, as it uses HTML5, but for some reason it works. I normally use HTML5 whenever available, but some sites haven't upgraded to it yet.

Every time I have long pink hair, I mistake guys for girls also.

Is it just me, or are a lot of guys really quite effeminate these days though? Like they literally sway their hips when walking and even stand like women. At the very least, a lot of them come off as gay and the fashion that's in right now looks terrible - I don't care that much because I don't really care what other guys look like (I have no reason to look at them that way), so I find that mildly amusing. But what does grind my gears is that look that's around right now by contrast makes the women look awful, it can make even the hottest girl look like a real minger, it's magic and I want to know how they achieve it.

Back on the guys, it's strange how a lot of the find me offensive now where before it was usually only women that thought I was offensive. That's actually good because I like to offend people, it leaves an impression - who are you going to remember at the party? The nice guy who didn't get in your way, never said much and cleaned up that drink you spilled or that guy who pointed out your shortcomings, threw his drink in your face and tried to get into your mother's panties? Yeah, thought so.

Pump people full of estrogen mimickers and give the green light for homoerotic activity = today's society. Hope you like skinny jeans, spiffy hair and being liberal :D

This happened about 6 months ago as well. Except the guy had long blond hair. He started screaming at me when I walked past him. Right then I knew this was no lady. :D

Well people the correct sitting posistion is 2 cause it puts your bowel in the correct angle of 35 degrees so does 4 5 6 and 8 so next time you out the bush and squat down for a poop you will empty all of the contents cause with number 1 you are not at the right angle and thats no SHIT!

Don't you mean "the correct shitting position"?
As stupid as that post might be considered by many, there probably is a truth to it because, and I think it is well known, bending your knees can help when you have constipation. Living on an almost purely Wheat diet, there have been times when I think the Asians have it right with the squat-type setup.
