I have no style, nor am I into cars all that much, so I bought (with my wife's permission ofcourse) a yellow FJ Cruiser. I want to eventually get it painted all black and get black rims, similar to this
(taken from google, not actually mine)
And I also got a Batman tire cover for Christmas; it matches the yellow color of the rest of the cruiser

Given that pretty much everything I own is old / broken, I envision any car I end up with will be some ghetto looking rust bucket. Probably it will have no interior carpet, smells of petrol fumes when the engine is running and there will be a hole where the cassette player is supposed to be.

The first vehicle I had the day after I got my license was a little pickup that would smog everytime you turned it on and also jolted whenever you put it in reverse; I very quickly traded it in at this very ghetto car place for a little Hyundai Accent that had the smell of curry for several months and the transmission blew after only a couple weeks.
I still think I got the better deal.

That's a vehicle for getting stuff done. I can barely fit my dog in the back of my car.
Did you get it yellow to continue with The Hulk Hogan theme? Would be funny to get some Hogan decals on it or a custom Hogan graphic as the spare wheel cover.
@High Treason, you can get some really decent cars for very little if you look around. I would hate to have to go back and do all that test stuff, head wrecking shit.
I bought mine for 2k but after all the work I've had done it ended up more like 5k.

I like the ability to disarm a zombie and its attacks no longer hurt, but I don't think Half-Life lends itself to this style of gameplay like Doom does

I approve of the quick kick but that is all.

I like the Model T... Rather have a Stanley Steamer though.
For some reason - don't ask me why, given they never sold it here - I envision I'll end up with some huge American car from the 1980's that's completely busted, I envision something like the Chrysler Imperial (Probably an incarnation known for engine troubles or something) or a Dodge Mirada... No idea, it's just the picture in my head. I imagine the interior being 'tan' colored, which would probably be good as they would make the layers of nicotine less noticeable.
Realistically though, I'm still aiming for something like a Fiesta, Corsa or whatever other generic small car. My Dad was a diesel engineer so I have a basic idea of what to look for when I'm buying, also know a reasonable amount about fixing such things, though most of my time with engines was spent around marine diesels... Actually, I'm trying to get back in contact with my Dad, so by the time I need a car I might be back in contact with him and he'd probably be quite helpful for something like this, he always had connections when it came to cars - he had to, because eventually everyone stopped lending him theirs when they realized their cars were on the customs & excise blacklist from him borrowing it to 'just go down the motorway, I'm not doing a beer run.' - needless to say, I don't think I'll ever lend him my car.

I wouldn't mind having one of those either, but lets be practical... you need to get one of these.

1970 Cuda every time. Preferably limelight green color - though I also like the orange - and I'd want a V8 version. Let's face it, everything is better with a nice V8 roaring away and you no longer need a car stereo because they sound awesome.
The Dodge RAM SRT-10 truck would be a close second though... I doubt crappy British roads were designed with such vehicles in mind however, which poses a potential problem. Some of my city's one-way system is rather narrow, anything other than Gypsies or rag and bone men struggle to get through parts of it.

I prefer the orange, but the green is fine as well

The stock seats are sexy as fuck. Also he put the GNX fender vents on it so I thought it was a clone at first.

I agree with the stock seats. As for the fender vents... you gotta admit, if you got a grand national you would put the GNX vents on too, they look awesome.

Yeah, right.
It's style backlash because today's cars are all bulbous and rounded off. What's the extreme opposite of a jellybean? Why a matchbox on wheels of course.
Back in the 80's there were a billion of those sardine cans all over the road, and I thought they were ugly back then as well (having just come out of the muscle car era & import craze caused by the 'fuel-shortage crisis').

Bought a field monitor for 5e at a broadcasting company's "flea market" (imagine something like BBC of Finland). Been gathering dust for a while due to lack of cabling and time.
Finally got it set up properly once I moved in to my new place. Damn I love playing old games with a proper CRT again.
EDIT: Should maybe attach that damn file.
