Weather seems pretty fitting for Christmas, at least around here. It was -37 C with the windchill when I went to work this morning. Currently it's -28 C with the windchill. Tons of snow on the ground.

Last Christmas or the one before it was very warm.

"Santa has 1/1000th of a second to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill the stockings, place presents under the tree, eat the cookies and return to the sleigh."

That's why nobody ever sees him dummy!

I was up past midnight on christmas eve and didn't see anyone come down the chimney. That Santa's a sly one he is.

But I thought manmade global warming had made the ice giants extinct.
Unless of course man is taking credit for Thor-made global warming.

Well, in the ongoing health issues I have read up about wheat intollerences and found that the symptoms match me quite well so I have decided to have a couple of weeks eating gluten free (not cheap) - I've been missing out, the gluten free bread is absolubtely delicious. Even if I turn out not to have an intollerence (though at the end of Day 1 my stomach doesn't hurt like it has been lately) I'll be spending that bit extra every week to buy this stuff instead of regular bread.

Edit: I wonder what it means that when I wrote this first time, I used the word "breast" instead of the word "bread"

Well, relationshit's already fucked. I called her up to ask her if she wanted to meet again in a few days, she just fainted and now her mom tells me to leave her alone. As I said previously I'll survive if things go south but I really thought I had something here. But I guess she just can't cope with any amount of stress or excitement... I dunno.

I'm gonna leave her alone for some weeks and hopefully she'll contact me soon but in the meantime I guess I'm keeping my options open again. This is damn frustrating.

That's clearly fucked up.

"relationshit" :)

Heh :) Now comes another tough period of trying to not to slip into bitter depressed resentment. If I reach that point, I'll be fucked over for another couple of months.

If nothing else at least it serves as a lesson learned... no matter how well things might go, never claim to be in a relationship after just one date :)

I thought you were supposed to handle negative emotions.

I'd like to point out another lesson to learn - don't be over excited about things that have an equal probability going either way. I know it sounds dickish, but we did bloody tell you and you brushed it off.

Welcome to my club! :)
Me too found out 8 years ago, that I am allergic to gluten. You are lucky that you live in UK, in my country there is almost nothing for folks allergic to gluten. Sometimes shops get some pasta from rice, corn or wheat flour with removed gluten, but that is rare occurence and they are ussually overpriced. Gluten free bread from shops is overpriced too and tastes like shit, so I bake my own in microwave oven. :) I live in capital city but we have one sole restaurant that cooks gluten free meals for whole city, that is ridiculous! Most people here dont know what allergy to gluten is. At least I get prescriptions from my gastroenterologist for which I can buy gluten free flour from pharmacy for lowered price. What is situation in UK?

You are correct. But I thought after last week I was home free... I dunno if you're making out with and fingerbanging a chick who says she wants to be your GF it's difficult to see that going wrong only a week later.

After last week's date - maybe, but you were excited before it happened and that was what some pointed out.

Anyway, at least you got some action. Unlike... no, I'd rather not. :)

Most supermarkets have a small section where you can buy gluten free food, it is more expensive. You can get it on perscription though, apparently it is supplied monthly and saves a fair amount of money. Annoyingly, I discovered that some of the food contains nuts, which I also can't eat.

Sorry to hear things have gone that way, still, it's probably better you found out quickly than end up stuck in a relationship for years where you utterly despise each other but can't find the way to leave.
