There's a reason for the sun shiny sky
And there's a reason why I'm feelin' so high
Must be the season
When that love light shines all around us
So let that feelin' grab you deep inside
And send you reelin' where your love can't hide
And then go stealin'
Through the summer nights with your lover
Just let your love flow like a mountain stream
And let your love grow with the smallest of dreams
And let your love show
And you'll know what I mean, it's the season
Let your love fly like a bird on the wing
And let your love bind you to all living things
And let your love shine
And you'll know what I mean, that's the reason
There's a reason for the warm sweet nights
And there's a reason for the candle lights
Must be the season
When those love rites shine all around us
So let the wonder take you into space
And lay you under its loving embrace
Just feel the thunder as it warms your face
You can't hold back
Just let your love flow like a mountain stream
And let your love grow
With the smallest of dreams and let your love show
And you'll know what I mean, it's the season
Let your love fly like a bird on the wing
And let your love bind you to all living things
And let your love shine
And you'll know what I mean, that's the reason
Just let your love flow like a mountain stream
And let your love grow with the smallest of dreams
And let your love show
And you'll know what I mean, it's the season
Let your love fly like a bird on the wing
And let your love bind you to all living things
And let your love shine
And you'll know what I mean, that's the reason

Our dying love, it prays in vain to live,
And pleads for help, I simply cannot give.

Rory, Comedy God, are one in the same. I was just trying not to be a dick to fool you all. And it worked ha! :D

I find it funny that you assume anyone actually gave a fuck. Suddenly I see this post "I fooled you all" and I had no idea what you were even talking about. :D

What the heck. Four days ago, there was no post between Lunick's and X-Vector's right after that "Illusion of Choice" picture in Fox's post. Today, I look again and Comedy God has a post between them saying "same here" that originally wasn't there before. Did anyone else notice this?

If he was "tackied" (as Siegler dubbed it), I would vote for reinstating it.

I'm not sure, but I don't remember seeing another post there either.

I added him to an ignored list anyway.

Looks like that AC power adapter I bought for my monitor a few months quit working again. Might have to buy another one.

I never had an issue with my old monitor's power cable. Then again, maybe it's because the old monitor just had a power cable (like the one that goes into my power supply) instead of a power adapter, where a small cord goes from the monitor to the adapter, then another cord (like the one I use for my power supply) goes from the adapter into the surge protector.

Do people use ignored lists much? I don't have one; if I read a conversation in a thread I want to know the context of each post.

I don't on this forum at least.

Ignoring(via through list or just by not answering) is just a better way to deal with trolls. As for not standing someone for his views... I don't remember doing that.

I put some of the more annoying trolls on the ignore list but only after they contributed nothing to any thread they posted in. There are other people who may annoy me or what have you, but they sometimes contribute so there is no point in putting them on a list like that.

Of course, the people whom I have on the ignore list are either super banned or just gave up trolling.

Oh dear God....

But, today I watched Prometheus with some guys for a podcast we are doing tomorrow. It is fantastic. Some people may not have liked it for various reasons, but since we are going to talk about it from a theological point of view, it is fantastic. I do also feel that it fits with the Alien movies in general. I had a few gripes as far as "accuracy" goes, as accurate as Sci-Fi movies can go, but I still found it to be a great movie.

It is a mess. Which is disappointing considering you can see the potential is still there, but it was ruined. And while of course you can discuss it from point of view of theological or existential ideas, I don't know whether the film was good enough at delivering those through its mess of (melo)dramatic events.

I watched only one time, though, and generally i'm not good for a discussion concerning ideas of a movie I saw once. (or I'm just stupid)
Anyway, it's better to go here, if you want to continue.

Eh. Maybe I'll post the link to the podcast on it once it is up. Need to create a listener base. We talk about lots of things and one of the other guys and are gamers. He has way more time (and I'm not sure how, he is married and in school) than I do to play games etc, though.

He might be not doing something you do thus have more time for other things. I doubt being married without kids have any time-related problems.

Hard to escape it these days, but I think the retroactive colour grading (i.e. poisoning) in the Final Cut version of Blade Runner is even worse.

I just found out that my girlfriend has gained a whopping 10kg since we met about 7 or 8 months ago. (For the yanks here that's a hell of a lot). I never really noticed it because she started off so incredibly thin and it was a gradual process, and she's still not that bad, but she's going back to china for like 3 months and she's confident she can lose at least 5kg, which is entirely possible if she walks around a lot and eats regular amounts of healthy home cooked chinese food. I must have lost 5kg in one third of the time when I went to france, due to a combination of small meals+healthy low fat food+tonnes of walking+jogging large distances once or twice a week+cold weather+food poisoning. Of course it'd be hard for me to replicate the conditions again.

A few weeks ago I got a pedometer to count my steps every day, aiming for 10,000+, and usually I'm over, which is great, it's mostly for those days when I'm slobbing about all day at home. I've started losing weight myself and I'd recommend it to anyone as a fairly easy way to gradually get slim.

Interestingly, on set you also have this combination of suit and flashlight colour on Rapace. Plus both scenes are different and Fassbender's face at least isn't orange. :D

Gonna check now. Don't remember this type of colour combination, but I haven't watched Final Cut long time ago. Last two versions I watched were, I believe, european and workprint.

Well, holy shit. Teal is all over the place in the Final Cut. Sure, there is some in other cuts, but not to that extent. Well, it is expectable, I guess, since colours are generally more vibrant in Final Cut. Besides, it's not really "retroactive" since Final Cut could considered "modern" version of BladeRunner. Scott, after all, recut whole movie and even reshot one scene(because of a mistake in original, but still).

Here, I found a more obvious comparison. http://whiggles.land...perfection.html

Yes, I did notice that the teal/orange thing was all over Prometheus.

One thing... It's better to use variable bitrate(duh) and mono since I haven't noticed any difference between two channels.

Anyway, I decided to buy Prometheus blu-ray so I'd better watch it again before listening.

I'm not in charge of the publishing. I'll talk to Josh about that. He has a system he has used for a while with other podcasts he ran previously. I'm sure there are ways to do it better.

One thing that bothers me is that my voice sounds weird and it sounds like I have a lisp in the audio but when I speak I don't hear a lisp. I think because I am hearing impaired I don't know if I do actually have a lisp or not since I can't tell.

Oh, yeah, we spoil the shit out of the movie. We realized that about half way through the podcast so a little blurb is added to the beginning to warn people.

I need to find more money, I'm having a nerd moment and I need Garth Ennis' 'Punisher' comics series in graphic novel form.
