The show is being canceled, so no. I thought there was too much interaction among the crew. There wasn't enough alien interaction. There was also a lot of mythology and science lacking at least for me. I think it is starting to get back into mythology with the Destiny and the purpose of the ship etc.

I guess my subwoofer wasn't working, but it would helped it I had it set up correctly. Needed to plug in the Y adapter and not just the one end. So before I didn't even have the Y adapter hooked into the subwoofer, and now since it's in, I can actually hear some bass. ;)

Just recorded a test video for FSX with 1080p, 30 Mbps bitrate, 512 kbps AAC audio @ 48 Hz. It's being uploaded, so I'll check on it in the morning.

The video features maximum autogen for trees as well as my usual scenery. Looks pretty sweet.

Here it is

You know when you have one of those days where you're really pent up for some reason and nothing will calm you down... I'm having one of those days, it sucks.

Semi retirement is over starting 04:35 hr 23 March 2011. I remember our first project, an eight unit apartment complex. AutoCAD had to be intalled in the hard drive, and we choose to pass on it. They called those computers we had an IBM Clone; and we had no cash for a secretary, so we hailed those Word Processors as a the eights world wonder; not to forget those true floppy disks. Now - not even close. Winning is good. ;) ;) ;)

Might get kicked out of my house on thursday, apparently some cunt has reported me to the council because my house is a mess, I live on my own so I don't know what makes them think it is their business, it can be narrowed down to 4 people, and if they don't own up to it I will make their lives very difficult - or at least their jobs, good luck finding work in this economic climate assholes.

I'm going to trash the place tomorrow and I am not paying the rent, I don't see any point at this moment in time.

in an unrelated conversation, do you think blood 3 will ever be made?

#3373

Probably not. If they wanted to raise publicity for blood 3 though a good thing to do would be release the source code so ports can be made, then a huge interest would be generated amongst older gamers.

New threads in the DNF forum are for people with no social life:

Can't remember the last time I posted in the DNF section or even read it, every time I go in there people accuse me of trolling, so I decided I could either troll it or leave, I don't have time for the kind of people that hang out in there so I left.

Fuck DNF and fuck it's fanboys.

Well to be honest you are a bit of an extremist and so are some of the people that post in the DNF section. So it is to expected that you would be called a troll.

I agree.

Now go away everyone as I'm fighting the urge to troll MASSIVELY!

I sometimes pass through to see if anything new is there. Sometimes I feel like when they announced DNF, the orgasm happened but now I just don't feel like going back at it. I need some time to get over the sudden temporary burst of empty yet expected excitement that was the announcement that DNF will be released. Maybe it was blue balls...or maybe I am now impotent. Who knows...either way, I feel "meh" about DNF suddenly.

All Hail Windows 7. To upload obsolete back-up data to a remote server took 1:?? minutes. The Recycling Bin and the Recovery shit is disabled; reward = to delete/remove the same backed up files from the local hard drive took 13:42min. Why? No clue, what so ever. ;)

As far as Duke Nukem is concerned, I only care about DN3D and the mods that are made for it. I've never really had any interest in DNF, and the amount of posts I've made in that section (like, two or three) ought to reflect that.

Even when the game's existence was still a big grey area and there was this sharp division between fans and (albeit realistic) naysayers, I never said one way or the other whether the game was going to come out, because to me it didn't make any difference. I wasn't going to play either way. Now I'm just hoping that its release might help bring some of DN3D's modding interests back to life. The modding community is pretty tightly knit, so I don't think we're going to lose anyone over it, but it'd be nice to see some more activity over there.

WTH High Treason those Mac Pro's are uber expensive. Like seriously over priced compared to a PC of equal power.

Well, since the game was just delayed to June (and beyond?), any excitement is gone. At least it means I don't have to worry about coming up with money in May.
