So Matt Groening is doing a new animated series with Netflix called Disenchantment.
It sounds like it will essentially be Futurama but fantasy.
There's some new and returning voice actors, including John DiMaggio and Billy West.
The same animation studio behind Futurama is also doing the animation for this series.
It premieres next year.
I'm on board.

Seven years ago today I landed the job as lead composer for the adventure/rpg hybrid game Mage's Initiation, from the creators of the King's Quest and Quest For Glory remakes. I just finished composing for it back in September 2016. Can't wait for this bugger to get out there. I've been seeing the latest builds, however, and they're getting the voice acting in finally. Hopefully it won't be long now.

I remember those things from last year and the year before. Those things are 747s, they're fucking huge, and the maneuvers they have to pull to come in close enough to the ground to be effective and then pull up before crashing and causing an even bigger fire are absolutely insane. They're a lot more nimble than you'd think. The top test pilot for the 707 even got in deep shit for doing barrel rolls in a prototype back in the 50's.

two wing mounted engines make me think it's a DC-10, not the 747s they use. But I might be mistaken.

There's a reason they don't use old C-130's anymore

he's fucking sad because I went to correct a grammar error in a previous post only to realize too late that the edit feature had been removed due to a time or log-in limit, so I unknowingly hit reply instead

Probably the greatest video I've ever watched.

I hate streaming services that are avialable only in a selected number of countries. It means I hate merely all of them.
I registered myself at the Warner Archive Instant, a streaming serivce that shows movies and TV series that Time Warner conglomerate owns.
I wanted to watch The F.B.I. (1965-1974 tv series) show, but when I clicked on the first episode it says that it's currenly avialable only in United States. "We'll let you know when we expand"! I'm waiting for that BS for about 2 years by know! I love classic tv, but I don't want to order a dvd that costs about $40!

Playing action video games can damage the brain:
https://medicalxpres...ames-brain.html
And the more depleted the hippocampus becomes, the more a person is at risk of developing brain illnesses and diseases ranging from depression to schizophrenia, PTSD and Alzheimer's disease.

Can't get a peer reviewed paper about it, but this is bound to end up on the news media nearest you.

My take on psychiatrist is shown below

"British scientists have cautioned against drawing firm conclusions from the study, highlighting the small number of participants."

They don't like AddBlock, but thanks.

Meanwhile, Canada's CBC made an 'in depth' article, ignoring the flaws of the study.

I've studied security extensively and I resent how popular the "correct horse battery staple" comic has become. The way it measures password complexity is wrong. Four common English words in all lowercase will easily get steamrolled by a dictionary attack.

This comic was new to me.
Based on your knowledge then, what is a good password?

Pull from multiple categories. At least the comic is right that ease of remembering is crucial.
