I have the SWF of that and was hooked on it for a while, partly because he reminded me of my own cartoon character. I remember years back I used to full screen it and unplug the keyboard and mouse on people's machines at work and college before hiding the speakers behind the machine. Often, people were too dumb to figure out what was going on and would give up trying to make the machine work and their futile attempts at making the annoying noise go away. Used to be great watching their mental state disintegrate slowly because they were too dumb to look behind the desk.

Once, when in social services care, I burned about 50 CDs with it on and replaced a huge number of the homes DVD collection with that, sometimes with the yellow chroma keyed out so part of the movie was visible behind the guy dancing. I did that in response to them stealing or confiscating most of my DVD collection.

I was thinking about getting a tattoo of one of my favorite characters from id software (probably Visor or Quakeguy, but could also be Doomguy though it wouldnt make much sense) rocket jumping, with the explosion being in color.

Was also thinking about getting a first person view of the Doom shotgun firing into an Imp with a Hellknight next to it throwing a fireball (plasmaball?) and even toying with the idea of having the Doom HUD on the bottom, but I've no idea where I would put this as it would need a big flat area.
Both of these ideas I've been thinking about for around 9 months but recently got a bonus from work, so I might take off with one of these.

Well, that's me off the computer scene for the next year or so, I woke up the other day to find the sata port missing from my board and a hard drive absent. I cannot source another connector to fit the pads.

The core 2 has pretty much died completely and barely boots Windows in safe mode when underclocked to keep it stable. So I'm done until I get a a new one running.

If you need a computer that badly I have a Dell Inspiron lapdesk I can mail to you. I'm calling it a lapdesk because it's so fucked up the repairs exceed the value of the system.

But the computer works just fine as a slimline desktop. I'll gladly mail it to the UK on my dime, I doubt it would cost much.

Thanks, but no way, you wouldn't get me running another Core 2 for anything in the world. I think my 486 SX is probably faster than those things.

No, as it is, the new RE4's I bought for this were reduced so I can sell them and make my money back, which should get me a new CPU. Once I finish writing a song for my O1R I can get rid of that too, pretty rare in the UK and was responsible for the majority of 90's eurodance songs so I should be able to shift that easily, I hate it anyway so it won't be missed. There are a few other things I don't need including a 486 motherboard, a Phenom paperweight and pieces of a Core 2 Doodoo machine - could put my GT730 in and sell it as a complete box with that crappy Dell LCD I have I suppose - which should get me half way to a new motherboard.

No doubt something will go wrong with this, it always does.

Edit: I have managed to solder on a SATA connector, it is ugly and I had to get rid of one of the ground pins, but I think it will work. Problem is, the PSU I use to test this stuff has decided it wants to give up on the world... Though it was free in a box of cornflakes or something so I guess powering a Pentium D 950 was asking a lot of it.
