Go get a coffee and the girl behind the counter immediately turns around with her phone and says "what colour is this dress?" .... I laughed.
Must be some new viral mindf*ckery going around.

Virginia eugenics victims compensated for sterilisation ------Eugenics
$25 000 and $50 000 payouts to AMERICANS that had been forcibly sterilized by the state - Measly payout for ruining your life and taking away the lives of any generations you may have spawned. Nothing bad ever happens though right guys

Eugenics article snippit:
"The Virginia state legislature scrapped the Eugenical Sterilisation Act in 1979
Lawmakers in the US state of Virginia have agreed to pay compensation to people who were forcibly sterilised by the authorities decades ago.
Victims will be paid $25,000 (£16,000) following a legal fight by campaigners.
Along with more than 30 other US states, Virginia once operated a sterilisation programme for individuals deemed undesirable or mentally unsound.
More than 8,000 Virginians were operated on between the 1920s and 1970s.
The state's programme was said to be the model for the Nazi eugenics policies introduced by Adolf Hitler when he aspired to create a master race.
Several countries practised forced sterilisation during the 20th Century, including Sweden, Canada and Japan."

MPs call for reform of EU's 'flawed' rules on GM crops
This article starts off with science as their god.
Later slips in about how it's bad.
This is such a horseshit article if I've ever seen one, not even sure why it was written. More of a thought provoking one I assume.
All of the articles are freshly minted. The new "data" smell hangs in the air.
But hey, then we get to hear about wheat being around for 8000 years:

Anyone else notice how mainstream people on TV, nightshow hosts and other mouths to the masses have really stepped up their "pro" vaccine campaign?
ALL of them parrot "pro"... mass mind rape.

Seems to me that the criterias for Autism diagnoses have become more and more stripped down over the years which has inflated the numbers. Then again, Autism is a very diverse and complex thing to accurately diagnose, and people whom most would define as 'normal' seem to wind up on the Autistic spectrum at some point or another in their lives for different reasons.

Psychiatry is not a science. The symptoms used by psychiatrists are listed on the DSM, and it would not be an exaggeration to call it the Bible of psychiatrists. However the DSM is defined by a small group of individuals and the means they use to define what are the supposed mental diseases/disorders or symptoms is confidential. The DSM "task force" must sign a nondisclosure agreement.
In other words, it doesn't follow the scientific method. It's not refutable. It's a matter of whether or not you believe in it. For example, I know how evolution works. I wasn't simply told that it's real and I not given an explanation of the means behind evolution. The same cannot be said about psychiatry in general.

Nice, the paint job looks like a wrap. Why did you get rid of the Tezza? I've spent €2500 on repairs on my Lexus since I got it last year, nearly there though. Just some brushings need replacing, I resprayed the original alloys mat black and next I'm going to get the rear and back windows tinted, not sure which would suit more 90% tint or 50%.

I sprayed the alloys a year ago, 4 coats with a light sand in between they are still perfect. I have seen the results of badly done work so I did a good job.

Picture used in the pitch of an actual legit Kickstarter project. No bullshit.
Said pitch in question
Game Informer article about the pitch
#16522 Posted 27 February 2015 - 07:20 PM
I often wonder if I should start a kickstarter and make the word buy me a hooker instead of having to pay for it out of my own pocket. Or something equally stupid. As far as I know, something has to be gotten out of the project though - i.e. you have to make something. I had a few ideas;
> Pitch: Buy me a hooker. Product: A mess. I suppose I could offer to film it.
> Pitch: Buy my shopping. Product: Shit.
> Pitch: Fund me so I can fund a better kickstarter. Product: I fund an EVEN WORSE kickstarter.
> Pitch: Throw your money in the bin. Product: I take your money, throw it in a garbage can and light it on fire.

Television and radio are quite controlled, why not the internet also, eh? ...eh?
"oh no! providers could throttle their users usage or netflix might do something, please beast, take the keys to the internet and save us!"
I think the Internet just got ohbahmahkaire ...

In fact the FCC previously regulated ISPs. All this change does is allow them to keep ISPs from merging arbitrarily and then gating off sections of the internet behind extra paywalls. This is beneficial to both consumers and companies that rely on the web to do business since they (theoretically) can't be extorted by ISPs in order to even have their customers allowed to access a web domain.
#16528 Posted 27 February 2015 - 11:20 PM
You see, they tried ramming this crap through before and failed, a couple times atleast. They softened the wording and bobs yer uncle, your free web is gone.
I remember when you could get a form of text dial up known as freeweb... FOR FREE! ... html version for $5 a month.
I'm curious.. how much do we pay a month to use the web now? Oh yes right, infrastructure, admin and maintenance costs.
mmmmm, I love my (d)Arpanet.
I'd say it's a pretty advanced project.. wouldn't you?
Tuesday's gone... gooooone with the wiiind.
