At least shit actually happens in Die Hard; there's many varying emotions from different characters, tension, drama and it still carries the message that the good guy wins overall on Christmas. The fact that you believe that I "ratted" you out to Yatta because I was butthurt over the Duke Reloaded fiasco just shows the type of non-existent logic that your average dumbfuck Neo-Nazi Anti-Semite uses on a regular basis. Does that make you feel better? The description alone was enough to deter me, but the gameplay videos really sealed the deal. You obviously have full creative content over what footage is released, so I can only assume you showcased the highlights of DNR's gameplay. I got a damn good idea of your pile of crap looks and plays like, but you have no clue as to what was and is going on with Duke 3D: Reloaded. That puts me in a much better spot to be the judge of quality. And I "can't win"?

A continuing problem. Die Hard is one of those movies where everything just seemed to fall into place, which is surprising considering how much of a chance making this film was. At face value it was seen as a risky attempt at adapting a novel that was not a particular success story (it was only put back into print in 2012 after Die Hard's success warranted it), but the right casting, location and some carefully arranged plot alterations (the book's story differed in varying ways to the final product, a lot remains but the small changes led to bigger ones) the movie was a smash hit.

Long story short, Hollywood doesn't like to take too many big risks. These days bold ideas are relegated to the indie circuit, which is no bad thing in itself, but you can't help but wonder what some of those films could turn into with a slightly bigger budget ect.

They should have stopped at Die Hard: With a Vengeance, the 4th and 5th one sucked balls and I hear they are doing a 6th one.
But this 6th one is apparently trying to go back to the grass roots so I hold a little hope for it.
