This forum is loading ridiculously, ridiculously slowly for me. Is that the case for anyone else?

Finally after working for nearly nothing for the past 10 months as a graphic design/printer intern I have been hired full time.
My boss called me for a meeting where he praised my attitude and progress etc then...offered me minimum fucking wage! HA
I was pretty pissed off I told him there is no way in hell I'm working for minimum wage for a high skilled job and that I've already more than proved myself.
He immediately backed down and offered my a higher wage, but then told me he doesn't like been spoken to like that and has no problem letting someone go for speaking to him in a manner he doesn't like.
I told him I'm just being honest, and that's the way it is. Then he asked if I would help him by working as a chef in his shitty cafe if he ever needed it, I was a chef in fancy French restaurants for 5 years, no fucking way I'm serving truckers sandwichs and coffee because my boss is too cheap to hire temp staff which are a bit more expensive, so I said no and he was pissed off again.
So now I have a fully paying job again and my boss now dislikes me a bit, fuck him I have learned enough to get a job now somewhere better so I will see what happens.
Internships are seriously shit but I couldn't afford 4 years of college, so I put up with it.

good. stand your ground against crappy pay and non-work related side chores. you weren't hired to make burgers, just to draw them.
you've already knocked out your internship, if you can deal with his penny pinching ass for another year you can easily get employment elsewhere
it's fine to have a good working relationship with your employer, but not to the point of where you're a doormat. he'll get over it if you prove yourself essential in your field

I went to a rather weird job the other day.
I attended a alarm at a dairy aka convenience store for you foreigners where the person had broken the shop window frontage and got inside before being scared off by the alarm.
But not before taking a handful of ... porn mags. lol
My job was only made harder having to wait for the owner who was Asian and couldn't speak English very well so I had a hard time explaining the situation to him.

Yeah, I was about to leave it at dairy and realised that it was only a Kiwi (maybe Aussie) term.
The stick magazines are normally on the magazine rack with other normal every day mags but each mag has a silver/black plastic sleeve cover so it is not visible.
No idea what any of that means...

For those wondering, I spent like 10 months collecting parts for this thing. I patiently waited for friends to upgrade, and then I got their old shit. Choreographed the hell out of it. I ended up only spending $80 total - all he paid for was shipping, and the video card, which was $60 at Micro Center. A big step up from the 8800GTX I was going to give him!
I spent weeks getting this thing stable when overclocked - the Nvidia 750i chipset is a nightmare. You can pass Prime95 like a boss but good luck keeping the machine from crashing if you surf the web and copy a file from one drive to the other!
