Duke Nukem: Critical Mass Revived?

Hi, I recently became aware that the new Apogee Software posted an intriguing message on their twitter account:

They posted "DUKE NUKEM: CRITICAL MASS", which might indicate that they're reinstating the Duke Nukem character into the game (they were going to release the game with a different character for unknown reasons). What are your opinions on this? Personally, I would really love to see Critical Mass come out as a Duke Nukem game.

I think DN:CM deserves to be released. Too many Duke games have been cancelled over the years and this one looked like it has potential.

As for the twitter and facebook posts, why can't they just be more forthright? I don't understand why Duke had to be taken out of the game in the first place.

All accounts have been lost though.

Last thing I've heard is that the PSP version will be that Extraction game and the DS version will still be Critical Mass, just as I've got word from a bird that Frontline shot themselves in the foot by working on multiple titles which pissed off Apogee who didn't wanted to fund anymore.

That's an awesome storyline! If they used that for the Duke Nukem Movie I'd be happy.

Holy Hell, only a few hours after the Apogee forums got reinstalled it's hacked again. Seems to be the same guys too.

Oh, I also think Joe Siegler is somehow involved at running the site/forum as he also had an Admin account there.

Apogee needs to get it together on their site.

Maybe the people hacking it are Duke fans who aren't happy with being jerked around?

I doubt it. Duke fans have high standards in art, the page is ugly and primitive.

Anyways back on topic, sort of. - Critical Mass was a TC 'JS' and other's worked on, like back in 1998, does anyone know if this ever got done?

Critical Mass was pretty rad.

Also, this game has pretty much the same storyline as Land of the Babes.

Yeah, what was up with all the "Alien Extraction Point" garbage? And the new main character Kane Nash or whatever his dumb name was. This Apogee has no idea how to make jokes if it was a joke.
