So I just discovered Eduke32 the other day, after years of thinking I'd never get to play DN3D again, and now after playing again, got the urge to go back to modding the old King.
Maybe I'm just blind, but I looked at the Tutorials & Resources sticky in the Official EDuke32 and EDuke32 modifications discussion section and everything there seems to reference more advanced features of EDuke32, like true 3D models. I'm looking for the more rudimentary stuff. Tutorials so I can reteach myself all the ins & outs of Build, Editart, the scripting language of the CON files, etc. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Whatever happened to the big mapFAQ from Jonof(I think)? I have a copy lying around somewhere on a disk or two or three (I make backups regularly and often back up the same thing)

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I had that whole thing printed out for many years and put into a 3-ring binder, but it got flooded in a basement a couple years ago.
I remember a tutorial for making new monsters from scratch too.
