The Artists Thread

I haven't been drawing much in almost 2 years, but I have started on it again ..!
Here are recent things I made:
I thought of Yatta when I made this one

My original character, Jinny I drew her a few weeks back as a pinup style tiger girl, and wasn't completely happy with her just not moving. So I decided to make a short 7-10 frame animation of her grooming herself. This one was just done with manually moving the vector nodes and then exporting each frame rather than Flash or some derivative. Then I just GIF'd all the frames.
I'm sorry too, but ponies. I'm sure not all of you are big fans, I know some are, but still. I drew this earlier in the week, the "Angry Tomato Lady" from 'Putting your hoof down'. She's a bit surprised as I trapped her in a heart.
Here's some art I did of Dr. Anna from the cartoon, 'The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog'. She's just kinda lounging in the sun there.
I know more ponies, sorry, but I did this one last week, for my friend's birthday, his original character and mine just kinda hanging out. This one was done in my personal "non-show accurate" style.

That pic is so random too. Sumiyoshi's face. xD He's like in shock. I love it. It's so absurd, but you guys just made me LOL my heart out. xD
I made this last weekend. Shipping myself with Roma the Tomato selling pony. Getting a little nuzzle nuzzle action going on. ^_~

This is a Borderlands fan art drawing, the girl is Tiny Tina from Borderlands 2, and I thought it would be funny putting Brick from the first game, with his massive size, at a table having a tea party with Tiny Tina..!

And funny you say that, because I did color it the day after I made it..!

I also made a version where I kept the shading but removed all colors:

Coloring is not my strong side though, I prefer just making linework..!

Sorry dont know how get the vid to show as a pic.
This is some really fancy stuff man. I'm a big lover of expressionism, actually adds a lot to the feel. Like how the skies are performed as well. Looking forward to more paintings.
But now a bit of realism, here's my latest piece, if somebody cares (titled "Pins", drawn with a pencil and some Photoshop for colors):

As for me, next to mapping for duke3d (which can be considered an art as well I guess) I'm also guitarist/vocalist/writer in my band Calculated (my brother Maarten is also in this band).
We create progressive/alternative rock, with songs usually clocking over 6 minutes.
Here's a song, studio recording:
And here's live footage (starts with the same song, has 4 songs in total):

This a Duke Nukem mosaic I made today in Photoshop, I kind of like how it turned out it might make a decent poster. It's made up of loads of screenshots from various Duke games. If anyone wants a high quality copy to print out themselves, just give me an email address and I will forward a hi resolution A3 pdf file.

Truth be told, I'm not very good at expressing myself except through visual means. A shame that what I wish to express is often very shallow.

A more recent picture I drew after a long hiatus with a nice set of Berol Prismacolor markers I bought myself for Xmas :
My tribute to Doom's Lost Souls; Done in Berol Prismacolor colored pencils :
I guess I draw skulls a lot. I drew this on the back cover of my notebook in college :
The rest is up on my Deviant Art account :

Gravity.
This is a very old one 15 years ago I think.
These are awesome. Very surreal and trippy. And great work for oils. I found oils hard to work with, although mistakes can be corrected a bit more readily thanks to the slow drying time.

All digital. I've not done traditional work in quite awhile, but I very much love painting on an actual canvas whenever I can.
