- Will there be a way to swap the new Duke ingame model for the old 2007 3DRealms version?

Same for me, but I would just add "or any 3D Realms' model made between 2007 and 2009?" (the last one looked fantastic)

And also, will there be character customization?

I got one question because the rest of the questions are already asked in this forum.

- Why does duke look like he is growing younger each time i see him in a newer game ?

George doesn't want to release it , particularly becuase trailer was a hacked one , and the game is basically a lot less from playable.

I'm talking about media of the old builds (screenshots, videos), not playable builds themselves, which will of course never happen.

Theres no point releasing media of the old builds, as thats already widely aviaiable online.

My other question is: What acually happened to the old builds? By that I mean were they deleted or just stored somewhere or what?

I understand everything. You don't understand what I said.

Theres no point in releasing new media of old builds.

To repeat my question: What acually happened to the old builds? By that I mean were they deleted or just stored somewhere or what?

Few more questions:

- What platform will the PC version use: Steam? GFWL?

- Can you use different characters in multiplayer or can you only play as Duke?

- What multiplayer modes will there be?

- Does the game have achievements?

- Will the PC version make use of DX10 or DX11 graphics?

- Mod tools for the PC version?

- Any licensed songs like we saw in Prey?

- Will there be any unlockables? Like cheat codes, concept art, or Jon St. John outtakes?

-When do they plan to release the demo?

-What will be in the collectors edition? (if there is one)

-Mod tools for the PC version?

-Multiplayer modes?

-Will Duke 3D be coming to PSN anytime soon?

Also, if George is there i would like you to ask him if it was hard for him to sell the Duke IP to gearbox since he worked on it for so long? I think it would be interesting to heard what he has to say.

*Apparently Duke will get a German voice. Will it be done with original type German sayings (Duke gets a German character) or translated word for word?

*The game sources are a mess ( as per G Broussard), is there a hope in hell for the source code, or will it be better to wait (probably will never get issued also) for id Tech 4 engine, or what are the policies for game engines at Gearbox?

*It has been asked before: Another way, one or two Build/Mapster fans went gaga over the ability to make TCs, will this major aspect of Duke Nukem 3D be honoured (with a usefull SDK), or is it better to learn mapping straight for Unreal or other engines? If the latter, can we actually use any of the art work from DNF, or is Reloaded the prototype team we need to follow?

Good question.

Of course it will. There is no question about it.

If we don't get a video of yatta miller broussard and pitchford in it , or a picture showing them all 4 together , i'll be disapointed :(

That would be priceless because they can say a few words on crediting duke4.net that kept going for all these years and i think the party is a good time to share thoughts and ofcourse the most important aspect is a recording of it which is written to good memories :D

I know there will be some private talk they probably don't want to share but oh well.

EDIT: the game doesn't have steam nor gfwl , achievements are a popular console callsign , on PC they are called hints/unlocks. and ofourse DNF will have those things. there is no such thing as "PC DLD" or "DLC for PC" stop using console terms for a PC game please :D

DLC is a popularized callsign by the console industry . in other words a crippled patch or commercial content update, it's reffering to a non-free product. PC games always got new maps and content wile fixing bugs and balance by using patches (no fancy names), patches are always been free , so don't say "DLC for PC" because that means you are willing to pay for the DLC content on PC that was intended for console release.

The proper question should be "are we going to get the content featured in DLC1 on PC ?" That would indicate we would get the content regardless if it's a DLC package on other platform.

DLC is also exploited as "additional seelable content" either made in post release, or already on the game disc it self , hence small download sized (unlock code). With referring DLC and taking it like it's a PC standard can make the company more risk-free of seelling DLC for PC , be demanding and don't let your guard down by these inudstry ticks , we should ask differently so they know we aren't noobs and that will also indicate nobody will buy DLC on PC anyways (like 3 maps for 15$ haha get a load of this)

What? Developers release free patches all the time for console games. DLC content can range from completely new storylines/campaigns to just additional weapons and skins. There's a clear difference between patch and DLC.

How many references will be added that relate to Duke Nukem 3D?

I have one more question to add to this amazing list:

Is GearBox taking all the negative responses regarding the box art into perspective? Are they planning on changing it?

Awesome news Yatta! Have fun!

I guess my main question would be "Did 3drealms actually listen to fan input and more importantly, are there specific ideas/suggestions by fans/forum goers
that 3drealms implemented into the game?"

I know Duke giving the middle finger to enemies was mentioned by forum posters as well as aliens running away when seeing Duke or him pulling out specific weapons.

Some forum posters also nailed levels too. Were these coincidences or was 3dr actively listening to us?

BTW: Tell everyone there Kaiser loves em! :(

Given that it is confirmed that the game will NOT be using GFWL, I would like to know if they can reveal any more info on what DRM solution they are using. They probably won't answer such questions with any level of specificity, but you could give it a try.

Stewox the only reason I ask about interactivity, is because I fear its limited, as in the trailer there was hardly any shown.

So it isn't a spoiler to ask: Is interactivity still a main component of the game.

confirmed in cvg

In other words

DLC is a payable patch without fixes , only content :(

Usually DLC is bad , really bad , but for example BFBC2 Vietnam Addon is something you call actualy Content update that's like every DLCs should be.

Epic Games years ago released TITAN PACK to boost the community of UT3, it was released as a 1 GB content update along with a 300 MB patch that was released along with it , for free on PC of course , EPIC Games also wanted to release GoW DLCs for free on consoles but Microsoft didn't allowed since it wanted some kind of fee to rake off the downloading players.

No need to complicate things. DLC is.. downloadable concent. Doesn't mean you always have to pay for it. They released map packs for Rainbox Six: Vegas that was for free and for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter too if memory serves.

Ask them if 2K is going to shaft all the PC users up the ass over DLC like they did with Bioshock 2?

GBX owns the IP. Actually GBX has a very good track record with quality DLC, look at Borderlands. Does anyone here read the news? I mean seriously, two days after PAX, "GEARBOX BOUGHT DUKE IP MONTHS AGO." I mean, this isn't even new.

Dave Mustaine better not sing anything during those songs. At all. My farts sound more metal than that guy.
