Ehh, that is indeed EXTREMELY old news. It was included in this Duke4.net news story, also his working at 3DR was confirmed by Raph in this blog post:
- Raphael Van Lierop, March 11nd, 2007.
So this is hardly news. We have known about this for quite a while. Yet everyone is going crazy when his name is mentioned, for instance when Joe mentioned him being in his(Joe's) office in connection with Joe asking about him selling his computer used for making the Prey Super Trailer or when Joe mentioned him and George getting a iPhone.
It is hardly weird that a companies Audio Director is in the office of its Webmaster or is out to get an iPhone with one of the companies owners.
Yet every time stuff like that was and is mentioned people are and where going crazy as if they didn't know he was working there.
Maybe they didn't but in that case they clearly wheren't paying attention or they where just plain slow
They surely weren't paying attention to the news items at Duke4.net

i should have called it not a rumor but a fact.
BTW, i knew all what you mentioned...but sometimes some details got lost by time.
