The Xbox 360 version of DOOM "question"
#1 Posted 07 January 2011 - 05:49 AM
Can the analogue stick sensitivity be altered on the full versions of DOOM/DOOM II like it can on Duke? I downloaded the trial and could see no option to do so, and the default sensitivity is far too low. It takes 3 days just to turn full circle.

I already have GZdoom for my computer. This is a question about the Xbox 360 version of DOOM, as I am becoming less and less interested in using the PC for games these days.

It's great you should give it a go. The stick sensitivity is a bit wacky though, imo too sensitive in the low end and not quite sensitive when you push it right over, so you end up having to sacrifice some turn speed for aiming accuracy. Other than that though it's practically a direct port from PC.
Err, oops, I just ran on about DUKE 3D for the Xbox >.<

Sadly, since Bethesda bought id Software, the first Doom was removed from XBLA. Doom II is still up there, though.
