suggestion (improved goggles)

can you make it so that when night vision goggles are used, it will cause the shadescale to change so that it will seem like you are actually "seeing in the dark"?

yea but the goggles are of use when you cant see your enemy or other sprites. then it will all turn green and you can see the monsters. i actually use that in one of my maps.

No, cvars cannot be set with CON code. However, they can easily be made to flash the level in the same way that firing a weapon does. There are mods that already do this.

Funny, I was thinking about this yesterday, I was questioning wether it was possible to make the player emit a green spotlight over a limited range whilst using the goggles, I don't see why not but I would not know where to begin for coding such a thing in CON... Unless I could find that torch code that was floating around some time ago, it might be possible to modify that to do it.
