I think it's the intro or credits font from the first movie. It isn't the same, but it has similar coloring. And the curves of the new Duke logo just makes me think Jurassic Park. Like if they decided to make a new Jurassic Park font for the next movie, it would probably look something like that. That's what I'm saying.

Actually that's a perfectly appropriate logo for DNF....I mean that's pretty much what most people today see Duke as anyways. Hell, that's also probably what he really looks like after this long, arduous development cycle.

Drop the jurassic park thing, it looks nothing like it ... just because the colours are the simmilar doesnt mean it's the same design.
Quite frankly I dont know why they dont use the original grungy Duke Nukem logo from 1996, it's kind of a symbolic to the franchise.
Edit: Maybe it resembles the 3D Realms logo too much, thus why Gearbox wanted to change it, either way I think that red and yellow logo was just for the trailer.

Are you the original artist? Do you think you could re-make it? I really like it as odd as it sounds. Maybe keep the laser sight and remove the glove though or add some engraving effect. I kinda want to have a DNF equivalent pistol in DN3D. I'd really appreciate if you could resurrect this sprite. I know I don't have much rep power or "EGO" or whatever, but I do really like it and think it's worth having back.
