It's extremely awkward and uncomfortable to think that this movie is being made by this man, and knowing the role he's playing in it. I'm just...ughh... there are no words that accurately describe what I'm feeling. Borderline nausea maybe. >_< I can only hope someone has the good sense to shitcan this before it gets released.
Uwe Boll is not a profound artist with something to say, he's a crappy exploitation director (even by the low standards of exploitation film) who only gets his funding through shady loopholes in the German tax system (U2's Bono must have talked to him). He's also an asshole to everyone he meets and it wouldn't surprise me if this movie is only being made because he likes to fantasize about Nazis.
I'm not even Jewish, but this movie, the reasoning behind this movie, the people behind this movie...ick.
Plus at the risk of sounding like even more of an asshole, there's only so many ways you can tell the story of the Holocaust. Their story is a powerful one and shouldn't be dulled by filmmakers looking to make a cool billion under the guise of "helping to expose the horrors of the Holocaust".
Please Hollywood, you soulless sack of shit, please do something good for once and trash this film.

He creates most of the movies he's known for using the American "typical audience of Hollywood blockbusters" demographic, and has them distributed here first for that reason.

Uwe Boll's newest movie about german boxing icon Max Schmeling completely flopped at the starting weekend with less than 10K tickets sold. The first online review I have read was so bad that I won't bother reading a second one or even consider to watch this movie.
