What is your 2nd most favourite port for Duke after EDuke32?

Maybe you would be suprised but EDuke32 is not only one port used massively by Duke community. In netgames most player use xDuke (hDuke is advanced and upgraded xDuke) beceuse it has more stable net code.

It is not about multiplayer and I was just curious. By the way, title of the topic says all: all duke ports except for EDuke32. I know that EDuke32 is the MOST popular, I just wanted to see opinions about 2nd most popular.

Then it would xDuke, but all them fanny boys of that try to avoid this site as much as possible because this is home of the EDuke32 forum.

Why not hDuke? It is more advanced and upgraded version of xDuke.

Who gives a shit? EDuke32 svn has in-game joining; when the code is finished anything else will be absolutely irrelevant because nobody is going to want to sit around waiting for someone to get a p2p lag-fest going when they can just join a server they ping well to.

Whoah. I didnt want to start fight. I was just curious, thats all. For me, EDuke32 IS the best port for Duke.

You didn't start a fight, I'm just opinionated and biased. I know that the networking code in EDuke32 isn't currently in a very workable state and so at the moment it's probably better to use other ports, or to use one of the older versions of EDuke32 from before I started gutting the networking. They had an improved version of the networking code from duke3d_w32, but I removed it because true client/server like EDuke32 has now is just superior in every way... or at least it will be once the bugs are ironed out.
