Unregistered hypercam (software issues)  "Program works but no sounds."

I found a program that record video game and works well.
I use a dual-core 2.7ghz Athlon

Video record with no lag if I don't put the resolution too large.

But no sound.
I use Windows 7.
Is there a way to make the sound of the recorder work.

PS
Sound box are checked.

Frap is crap, doesn't work at all.

I found out the problem about this thing. You need a mic for it but the adverse effect is those damn feedbacks.
Probably I need a new mic and even new speakers cus mine are finished.

I currently use playclaw.
can record game with sound, no mic needed.

Fraps is an amazing program compared to what your trying to use.

Also a Mic+Speaks is not the way to go if the program you want to use cant directly record, you need a pass through cable that goes from line out into mic.

Ok with Fraps, how do you get the file size smaller?

You can't. You have to use movie maker or any other program to convert it.

Weird thing is why fraps doesn't work.
I've tried everything I can imagine even what the book say and it does not do anything.

playclaw you don't need a mic for sounds ingame. I do get very minor lag but not severe.

I use win7 Dual core 2.7 ghz (like 5.4 ghz).
3gb ram.

a bit over 2TB of HD space.
and etc.

unregistered hypercam works but I can't make sounds work accept if I use a mic.

If you can't get FRAPS to work then you must be doing something seriously wrong or you have gone and downloaded some pirated version full of viruses. lol

I downloaded the trial version.

I don't goto warez sites. I do not trust those sites.
I always run virus scan on zipped files with norton antivirus when windows pop a warning such as the program comes from an unknown companie/author etc.
Before unzipping.

I run frequent anti-virus scan and still clean,

In Windows 7 the StereoMix recorder is disabled by default.

You have to go into Control Panel > Sounds, then to the Recording tab. Right click in the list and choose 'Show disabled/disconnected devices.'

One of those will be your sound cards ability to record from itself (if the card supports it - which most do). Enable it, set as default, and Hypercam/FRAPs/anything should record fine without a mic or cross cable.

Also FRAPs works differently from Hypercam as it detects the presence of 3D acceleration in an app and records from the actual output (OpenGL, DirectX). Hypercam is purely a screen capture software, like hitting PrntScrn 24 times a second. FRAPs does not always work with older DOS games, so maybe that's your issue? PlayClaw is the same though.

Anyways try that out.
