over at 3DRforums someone mentioned that DNF at Gearbox being worked on since 6 months??? SOURCE????

LOL, when they said "...unannounced shooter based on one of the most famous shooters ever created" I immediately thought of the coming expansion pack for Doom IV, which will be currently in production (or about to start) if they are going to launch five or six months after DIV hits the shelves.

I think it was said in the lawsuit documents Duke Begins has been put on hold. But there has been nothing said about a new team working on DNF. I don't give a fuck what kind of hints Scott is supposedly dropping about that.
Give me proof (press release, screenshots, trailer, etc). Give me a game to play. Until then just STFU and stop trying to hype up the people who don't need the hype.

I don't mind hype if there is a good reason for it, but honestly there is no reason to get hyped. Also i'm tired of people making rumors and then some dumb ass reporter publishes it, then people think that its fact even when its not.

I agree the only fact we know is that somehow, somewhere DNF is in some kind of development. Who is doing that development, as well as its extent and nature are all unknown. Would I by really surprised if it was announced that Gearbox is completing DNF for 3DR? No, not really that surprised. But nothing is official, yet. I guess the most positive sign for DNF would be the two deals that Scott signed within two weeks or so back in June. But we don't know any specifics.
