Hi, i was wonderen if its possible to add custom music to Eduke32, cause in the past when i was using XDuke port all i did was rename the music after the originals in the game and put it in my duke folder along with xduke, i tried doen that with eduke32 but it didnt work, is there a certain way to do it?

Well, what is the format of the music you're trying to add? The only sound formats that I'm aware of that's compatible with EDuke is .wav and .ogg. If your music is in .mp3 or some other format, then try converting it to .ogg.

ah, so thats what i have to do, lol its in mp3 format, ill have to convert it, are thier any free mp3 converters that u know of that will convert then to .wav or .ogg?

Get Audacity, download the LAME MP3 plugin for it, drag and drop the MP3 in and export the new format.

Ok, thx for yalls help i need a favor, can some1 post a list of all the duke3d music used in the level (including the 1s from the plutonium pak, i need the original names used in the levels themselves not the Full names such as ALIENZ or STALKER1) cause i found the Duke Nukem Total Meltdown music online and im gonna convert it into .OGG format so i can use it with Eduke32

Just open you USER.CON with a text editor and look in there for the names.

I managed to successfully convert all the music, but thiers 1 problem some of the music files in game are listed as .voc, what does the .voc stand for?, and what can i do to get these files to play ingame?

Are you trying to get in actual level music or simply new sounds in the map (think ambience, monster sounds, switch sounds,...)?

yeah, im trying to add the "born to be wild muisc", "bar music", "briefing music", and the "score screen music", but thier listed as .voc, i think thier ingame sounds, but im not sure...

OGGDropXPD should be able to drag & drop-convert to OGGs straight from MP3s, incidentally. Easiest way to do it.
