The freezer beam does not cause a crash for me. I tested it in both Polymost and Polymer, using the latest revision (r1681). This is the wrong thread, so please post your reply in the DukePlus thread.

I did that on accident, I thought I was in the Dukeplus thread. There's no reason I would purposely post in the Dukebike thread. But since you already replied with an answer, there's no reason to post it again.

I don't know why people keep posting about this in the Dukebike thread.
AFAIK, the crash was caused by the freezer in Attrition, not DukePlus, and the reason it crashed is because my code directly manipulates the pointers to the actor's actions and whatnot (necessary to make the actor freeze in whatever frame of animation it was in at the time). I thought the crash only happened in Linux, and had been fixed in the latest build of EDuke32.

There's also a neat track map that Muesla made for the bike which is worth checking out (not the testing map), which isn't included with DukePlus. But the DukePlus bike is superior due to bug fixes such as allowing the bike to ride over small bump, and the spotlight in polymer.

It depends on if you'd want to make animations for the bike tilting and stuff like that. If not, than pretty easy. If you did want to add tilting animations and stuff than it would be more difficult.

There´s actually another bike thing that is much more suitable for sofware/sprite version. I´m not promoting it because i want to use it myself in some secret project i´m not allowed to talk (not even to mention that there IS a secret project)

I've been thinking of making a Duke Kart style mod for a while; or if nobody wants to help me at least a one race single player map; for a while now, and this would be a pretty good start for it...

The mod is part of Duke Plus , so just download the entire set and go from there
