Hi,
I am trying to build Eduke32 from sources (which I got from the SVN,
revision 1501). And I got weird results:
- the palette is messed up when using software render:

- a few textures are damaged when using hardware acceleration:

I tried to follow the procedure described in the wiki
http://wiki.eduke32.com/wiki/Building_EDuk...inGW.2FGNU_Make
really close. I got:
- MinSYS 1.01
- MinGW 5.1.3 with TDM 4.3.3
- DirectX 8.0 from http://alleg.sourcef...es/dx80_mgw.zip
I made a few corrections to makefiles so they point to the place where
I installed DirectX, and ran make. Here's the log:
http://xmppmicro.110...loads/build.log
Should I mention that my videocard is Intel 965 express, and I also tested my build on another computer (an old one, so the videosystem sure is different) with the same results. I also have the official Eduke32.exe (from http://dukeworld.duk...32_current.zip), which works just fine. Also tried to build different revisions, with and w/o TDM... Really out of ideas

CASE DISMISSED
I just found a reference to old GTK libraries (installed elsewhere) from minsys/etc/profile... Removing it fixes everything. Two days wasted... Shit happens, as Duke would say.

Wtf? I don't see how GTK libraries would have any effect, positive or negative, on a win32 build.
