Anyone heard of Iday01?

This map has been sitting on my computer for ages and I just played through it tonight in single player. It was pretty decent but I have nothing to go by as there was no txt file along with the map. Anyone recognize this? It was from July 20th 2000 according to the date stamp on map file. I'm looking for any info about author or a text file preferably from the author. This is too good of a map to not showcase. I would like to publish it on Dukemaps.net

It's on MSDN: https://msdn.duke4.net/hotiday01.php author name is DoTTorX.

Must be a rather popular map as apparently it's been used in Alien Armageddon Attrition mode (or used to be in there) for quite a bit according to a quick online search. I must have played it at some point too (back in the DN-R days) but can't remember much of it at all.

What's weird is that I must have also played this level years and years ago but for some reason as soon as I saw the the pics I remembered it. It's weird because it's overall a somewhat bland level yet for some reason has stuck in my head over the years.

What I really appreciate about this map is how it plays like a traditional level with better visuals and it’s not overly complicated. For me this is why it’s memorable. For its day, this is definitely way ahead of it’s years. Here’s the upload link for anyone interested.

Trends being a 20-, 25-year cycle, I am fully expecting 2000's maps to make a major comeback in terms of player popularity just around now (before that we have seen 3DR styled as nostalgia for the original game, and then shovelware 'aesthetics' revival). Even I replayed MPrail just the other night for the first time in two decades and am considering going back for more. Just enough time has passed to successfully forget just enough about them. Give it until this summer and most of the core community will be replaying KuFFi maps again.
