Hey everybody, just getting back into building on Duke 3d. I bought Duke 3d atomic version, downloaded Mapster and for some reason when building I can't go into 3d mode. All programs are in the same directory but I did download and install mapster before buying duke 3d atomic, any suggestions?

Thanks I'll definitely check that out. So that might be my problem haha my keyboard doesn't have a number pad. Is there a way to change it by any chance?

Ps So that is the problem, when I press f10 a mini screen of the 3d view pops up so I know it's working correctly but since I don't have the right Enter button I can't access it in fullscreen. The website you link says to use the FN button along with pressing Enter, but the problem is I also don't have an FN button lol Let me know if you can think of a solution. Thanks for your time!

You can remap keys in the mapster32.cfg in the main directory. Take a look at the bottom of this file. There´s also an example for your specific problem.

You'll eventually run into issues with other functions (such as texture pan/resize) requiring numpad.. The path of least resistance is to either get a compatible standalone numpad (some work, some wont, I don't know which) or get a cheap keyboard that has one.
I've had laptops where the Fn trick was usable but some where it doesn't work due to giving wrong scancodes. Generally I've just given up over the years and used a full proper keyboard always.
