[Alien Armageddon help] How do I get ammo for the sword? "The mod has a lightsaber added and it needs ammo for some reason."

Hi there, I'm new to Duke4. Hell, I'm new to everything Duke Nukem and I am admittedly am quite having the time of my life with the game at the moment. Currently, I am playing a mod for the game called Alien Armageddon, a mod that I'm going to assume that everyone here knows about.

So seeing as this mod is a little bit old now, I need some answers from those who played it.

I have a bit of a problem you see. I'm... more into melee fighting thanks to years of playing Shadow Warrior Classic and so far the mod has been enough to replicate the feeling of meleeing though enemies in 90s first person glory. But the thing is... that the mod authors seemed to have had the great idea to have the Lightsaber weapon use ammo. I am already halfway through the second Episode of the Classic levels and I've still yet to find ammo for it. The in-game shop offers it only once and doesn't even let me buy ammo for the damn things.

I know that the mod has a third character named "Wes Wolf" who's basically Blade. But he's bland compared to both Duke and Shelly (Whom have some unique dialogues in the classic episodes).

I've already posted the same question on both reddit and the mod author's discord. Seeing as I am here, you can probably guess my luck regarding in finding some answers.

And yes, Alien Armageddon is amazing, definitely my favourite DN3D mod.

Generally, the only way to get more ammo is to either kill a sith and get another sword to drop, or use the console command 'spawn sabersprite' to cheat yourself a drop.

The only way currently to gain ammo for the sword outside of the Horde mode is to, As Forge above said, type "spawn sabersprite" on the console. You can do as I do and pretend that you have to stop and 'recharge' your sword every now and then.
