Hello everyone!

CHANNEL OVERVIEW:
It was suggested I start posting stream links here for the community, so for anyone unfamiliar with what I've been doing I'll give a brief intro as to what I do now. I started to pick up Duke Nukem 3D again last year when I heard about Shaky Grounds, around that same time I was diagnosed with ADHD (it's related, trust me) and it was a very eye opening experience for me on how I functioned my whole life and how being an adult with ADHD really had me on auto-pilot for everything for over 15+ years now just to maintain a job, bills, and now, my physical & mental health. I just wanted to do more then survive, I used to be big on art, constantly creating, but time management became harder and harder for me to do those things since the moment something takes longer then a few hours to do, I would throw my hands in the air in frustration and give up. As part of my diagnosis and stumbles through finding the right medication, I wanted to have a hobby that I could use to help judge my progress, and since I just finished Shaky Grounds shortly before this and really reconnected with the pick-up-and-play style of Duke 3D I thought, "Why not go back to a period of my life I fondly reminisce about?" This is when I picked up Mapster32 and decided that I'm finally going to learn how to make levels of my own (I always wanted to growing up).

So I started to use my YouTube channel to track my own progress so I wouldn't get discouraged that progress sometimes takes time. That evolved as I started to get more comfortable with basic editing, and I wanted to learn more, so I thought I'd start to play through more User Maps to see what I could learn from them, see how that sauce is made. This led to the current iteration of the channel where I play through a User Map or two (usually for the first time), but really taking my time with them, looking around to see how things are made, how stuff is told to the player, while the second half of my streams (usually) are me editing in Mapster32. The hope is I can encourage others to dive into mapping with me so we can all help each other out, while also using it as an opportunity to show off the work of others!

THIS WEEK'S STREAM - DEMOLITION BY DEVASTATOR - SAT, MAY 18TH, 12:00 PM EST
With a fitting name (Given the map), map-author Devastator unleashes a map from 2008 called Demolition. This one has some modifications to it, all of them designed to increase the destruction level to 11 to create an intense, action-packed level for Duke Nukem to blast through. So let's take a peak and see how it plays!

I also have several playlists for my past streams:

Hey man, I love your content, the trouble is with the length of the videos it's hard for me to keep track of different parts of the mapping stream, do you think it's possible you could cut some parts down into smaller littler video tutorials perhaps? There's a plethora of information and I really appreciate it a lot, but it's really hard to find specific little parts in such a long video.. I was thinking of going through and time-stamping some parts in the comments section to help you out, if you'd like xD

I'm not against that. I try to make sure to add time stamps to the Let's Plays before the next stream, but the mapping ones I've fallen behind in. Just one of those time consuming things I wasn't expecting to take so long some days since I struggle with where to out them.

So if you have any that stand out, throw then in the comments and I'll add them! I'm optimizing my work flow (not just for my streams) to find more time to do stuff for the channel.

BobSP (or someone claiming to be them) reached out to me, wondering if I had anything to ask them about their time Mapping for Duke.

It wasn't something I anticipated, so I haven't considered what to ask, if anything yet, so I figured I'd ask around if anyone else had questions.
