This game recently had its 30th anniversary. It was originally released as an Apogee Software game, titled "Halloween Harry", on October 10 1993.

Here, I'll cover a less familiar product. One of the DOS game's designers, John Passfield, released a game via Honeysoft Publishing Company for the Australian Microbee computer system, back in 1985. This game is similarly titled "Halloween Harry" and further stars the same marine as in the later DOS counterpart.

To further quote from the video's description as of writing this, "Courtesy of Alan Laughton, Microbee Software Preservation Project". From the MSPP's website:

The MSPP is made up of a community of Microbee microcomputer users to help preserve software and documentation for this Australian microcomputer from the 1980s era. The site also supports other Vintage Australian microcomputers.

Among other files, I could find a disk image including the game in question, and then run it using the uBee512 emulator. It is probably the case that files downloaded from MSPP's repositories shall not be distributed by others without permission, so I'll describe where I found them at the time:

1. The MSPP website's main page currently links to 3 repositories.

2. I got the uBee512 emulator from the Microbee-MSPP "Public" repository, under the directory Projects/ube512.

3. I downloaded the disk image with game from the Microbee Technology repository, under the path Microbee/Software/Disks_original/Microbee/Honeysoft/honeysoft_arcade_games_vol_4_t03. zip.

4. A separate page should lead you to required system ROMs; The files I used are named charrom.bin and rom1.bin. I'm not sure there's a URL to the page in question from one of the website's usual pages, but try looking for "technology_public".
