I was sick of having problems with the rendering engines accross different browsers and sick of the load times for those browsers, i wondered... Why can't i have a fast browser with more than 1 rendering engine?
I looked up "List of web browsers" on wikipedia and stumbled accross Lunascape5 and a couple more that I thought looked OK.
As it turns out, Lunascape5 has not 1, not 2, but 3 RENDERING ENGINES! - Trident, Gecko and Webkit. Upon firing it up and having installed it's launcher, i found that it was a lot faster than any other browser i have run yet and i can switch engine whenever i want, it can also be customised a hell of a lot. It scores 100/100 in Acid3, especially when using Webkit engine. Think i will be sticking with this browser, it's not using too much memory either, it's a bit heavier than Opera though.
I'm well pleased with it up to now and seeing as nobody i know has heard of it (i got my friend using it now though) i thought i'd share it with you:
You can get it here:
