Only admins (not mods) can delete an account and if that's what you want I suggest PMing an admin. Creating a public thread like this gives the impression that what you actually want is attention.

Only got around to check replies now due to holidays being busy period.

Ah so, lets get this straight: over the years, those who are responsible for the site couldn't implement option/button to delete one's account (something other places did) without contacting an admin... That's lame, not gonna lie.

Yes, deleting an account is all I want, since I don't really use it (and do not have much of the time to do it nowadays) and don't really know anyone here (be it admins be it someone else). Before this, I looked around user cp hoping to find aforementioned option for deletion there. With no luck, looked around forums and managed to find several years old (and public) thread where Yatta (iirc) told someone to pm him for acc erasure. Figured I could try that, but got no reply and admin thing eluded me, so I made public thread, as last resort to find solution. Sorry for any trouble I might've caused.

To adress last bit: assuming worst of others (because something didn't cross their mind and they ended up making public thread...), posting stuff like 'mUh criNGe" "MuH aTtEnTiOn" (be it for sake of those sweet, green upvotes, upping post count or whatever makes you folks feel good about yourselves) and other things people around here do, does leave the impression about environment/community as whole. And it's not particulary good one.

I'll see if i can find time to contact admin as per suggestion. Please lock the thread.

step1: no admin visit this site anymore & haven't since 2018
step1a: make a discord account
step2: subscribe to the duke4 discord channel
step3: pm an admin there & hope they are also an admin here
step3a: repeat step 3 about 4 times
step4: hope they understand what you're asking; deletion from the duke4.net site & not a newsletter subscription, or deletion of the discord account
step5: wait for them to read the faq of admin commands to find the instruction on how to delete accounts from this forum
step6: repeat the process when you start getting ion fury 2 spam in your email
