No problemo.

When the Facebook page got taken down I emailed Scott Miller and asked what was happening. That was his reply.

You don't get the bigger picture, why are they showing DNF pictures? Pending legal issues with Take 2 are still going on. Why would they do this? What is the intention behind this? What is the link to DNF besides that picture being from DNF? That I didn't deny, I only questioned the motives behind this. What is the message they are trying to put through? I thought we were over this bi-weekly stuff.
I await your next smarmy response.

And it's Scott Fucking Miller, whom supposed to be more business oriented and generaly less spontaneous/erratic than GB.

The first post will be updated with the latest images from the Duke Nukem Facebook page once they become available.
The photo albums that are on the first page will also have the latest images put in them once they become available.

So, are you saying that this doesn't have anything to do with DNF?

I dont think thats what NukemDave was implying.
All of us just need to calm down, we're jumping to conclusions and its just not nessacary. Its not gonna change what we know or what we dont know, or when we know or dont know it... or, something.

Actually, I contacted (blank) and got a reply. I wish I could say more. I really didn't get much info anyway. I only got one sentence from him and I really don't want to share with everyone what he said because it would probably ruin my opportunity to ever speak to him again, etc. I'm surprised I even got a reply! Just stay tuned and don't worry about a thing. It'll make more since later, trust me.

Interesting indeed. While you can't/don't want to say anything about the message itself, perhaps you can give us your opinion on when this whole big, grandiloquent secret is going to be unveiled (in form of a video, image, article etc.). With the information you've got, would you want to bet a nickel that we're gonna get some sweets before New Year's Eve 2009?

My best bet is that Radar Group has an "external developer" that is working on a new Duke game, and 3D Realms is not involved with this.
Why open a Facebook account and not post it on 3DRealms website, think about it.

Well I asked Scott more than one times...and I always got a reply too

He of course doesn't spill major beans to due NDAs and such nastsy things. But he always indicate things. And stuff he can talk about without getting in trouble he talks freely about.
But I would be interested if "he", if it was Scott, told Dave something major I don't know yet.

From reading the reply, yes, we're going to see more. I don't know whether we'll get anything big or not, but we're definitely going to get more media from the Facebook page. I do believe we'll get a big announcement or a big "something" when the time is right, though.

You don't know how bad I would love to tell you whether you're right or wrong, but I can't.

And no, the case is not settled yet. However, I've been thinking about something. I'm no legal expert and this may sound a little impossible, but let's say somehow they managed to get a team to secretly finish the game before the court hearing. Wouldn't that destroy the lawsuit since the purpose of the lawsuit is for 3DR failing to finish or deliver DNF?

Once again, if they could afford to do that, they wouldn't have let the development team go.

And no, it really isn't anything big, but it's big enough that I shouldn't say anything about it. I'll probably tell everyone later when things change. I'll say this though, the reply I got confirmed what "D-Day" is all about. Ok, that's as far as I can go on that subject.

its more complicated than you might think...I talked with Kristian about this topic. There must have been a good reason to let them go! What if they haven't got the money to pay their employees?! The sell of the Prey IP was done later.

D-Day was a date that marked the beginning of the Normandy landings in World War 2. We know that in the Duke Trilogy that's coming, one of them is World War 2 related. Proving Grounds. I think these two might be linked somehow.
Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about and I'm just flinging shit out my ass. I dunno, but it's certainly as viable as any other theory I've seen thus far.
