I dont know anything about gamevar`s or something like that. maybe its in one of the con files?

Just modified that article to add the part he's actually looking for. The old article only showed how to LIMIT jumping height, not increase it. >.>
And halo33: you have to use at least one gamevar to hold the value of the jumping_counter. Gamevars are part of EDuke32's CON system, and they're recommended for any major modding you might be planning to do for your mod.

Your explanation under the new code is incomplete and confusing.... Remember, the purpose of the wiki examples is to teach people how to do things, not to just give them code that they can paste in without understanding it. Writing the explanation is more difficult than writing the code. Also, the name of the example should be changed to "how to modify the player's jump height".
