It might happen to you, but for those residing anywhere in Canada, there is a chance that the item that is or look like a gun or even functions as a gun will be prohibited for use or sale. This may include but is not limited to toy guns at a dollar store, nerf guns, airsoft guns and more. And the Canadian Liberal Party thinks its for "safety", but it isn't.
This also means places that normally sell firearm-like equipment will no longer be able to do that, thereby making some shops forced to be out of business.Makes me wonder if it means people who run lazertag centers and paintball shops will be forced to be out of business as well.
Having said all that, the government might attack gaming communities next. This means blocking networks they discover that promote guns. This could mean the end of online duke nukem gaming for all of us!
The only people that will be fortunate during all this are. those who play games against the computer or another member in the same house (or apartment room). These games include duke nukem, paintball and lazertag, provided that the noise is not heard from someone outside of the house, because who knows, that outsider may report us.
Speaking of reporting, if any business is found to operate guns of any type (which may include lazertag guns), and a person complains to the government about it, then the court can order the business to remove the guns at any time. This is part of the bill C-21 in Canada.
It's time we question the government's motives so that the activities we love doing in person and online can resume without trouble.
I have provided a link to a video of a local shop owner who could lose his business of selling guns just because of bill C-21:
