Player drifting?

I'm not sure if this is an issue but it's bizarre. Basically if I run and stop Duke will marginally drift forward and either to the left or right. It's not terribly inconvenient, it just seems like something isn't quite right with my keyboard or mouse, but it might be just how it is. Any ideas or suggestions?

That is the normal Duke Nukem 3D movement.

Yeah, happens with the DOS version as well.
