Waaayyy cool looking game. My only critique so far is the unresponsive villagers in the beginning. You trash their belongings or property and they stand there quietly looking at you. Other than that, it looks like a ton of fun to play.

This to me was the highlight of day 1 in Realms Deep. Completely looking forward to trying this out.

Looks like an interesting mix between Hexen and, somehow, Painkiller HD.

They are really making an effort to bring back the old 3D Realms. Kingpin Reloaded, Wrath, Graven... we aren't going to run out of shooters, that's for sure.

Yeah, the game needs to immediately spawn a bunch of guards chanting HALT HALT HALT while homing in at you if you do something like that.
Also nice touch with the kick attack. Mighty foot engaged!

That's normal in some places.

Just hope there isn't another lawsuit incoming due to the name similarity to Raven (Software). Since even the font is very similar (if not identical) to the one used in Heretic, I guess the similarities are more than just coincidence.

I just found out about this game and I gotta say Im hyped for it.
You know, I’m liking the direction nu 3D Realms is going with their games.

I actually quite like the art style. It's got that really nice early/mid-2000s look where things are just chunky enough for developers to hide it behind leaning into a particular aesthetic, but not so polygonal that it's not entirely clear what something is or isn't.

Yeah. It ticks all the nostalgia boxes without going over the top.

You can try the demo on Steam right now. Worth playing, I like it.

The GRAVEN demo will be available again during the Steam game festival, from february 3rd to 9th. Apparently is the same demo, no updates, but if you want to play again or you missed it the first time now's your chance.

The full release is still scheduled for Feb 25, right?
That was Wrath, not Graven and no, Wrath has been postponed for a summer release window, partly due to some developer(s) getting Covid.

Ah, crap. Well, both games are on my radar, so it's natural for me to get them confused eventually. I guess a few more months of waiting can be survived.

Personally from what I have played from both graven and Wrath, the delays are for the best. Those games while good still need more time in the oven.

Game went into Early Access yesterday and so far the reviews aren't exactly smashing. Merely "mixed" (69%) on Steam so far. Some really like the game, but others say it's far too short for a demo, level design is amateurish, game doesn't know what it wants to be in general etc. There's just about 100+ reviews so far, so rating might still change.
Looks like it's another case of "don't buy before finished".

Looks like the same demo they were giving out to streamers a while back. Smashing a bunch of really atmospheric boxes - the game.
