I like the "blow it out your ass", I feel it'd work spliced into another video as a gag.

Well, anyone could argue that JSJ could use a CGI animated using the DNF model of Duke, but honestly he is most unlikely to have the budget or time (or knowledges) for it... :o

But oh wait, there is still the good old "ventrillo harassment" : :)

Ventrillo Harassment is 21st century classic.

The Duppet reminds me of some parody of Sesame Street that was an adult swim production or something (I can't be bothered to look up the title because honestly I did not like it for its crude humour), so I guess the medium was a deliberate choice. After all, Duke's quotes can't be taken serious anyway.

Well, not to be taken more seriously than any punch-line done by any one-liner I guess... If you take them too seriously you are then drifting into a "Demolition Man" world (where peoples are getting way too sensitive about anything is said about anyone)...

But the question remain : "Who don't want to see/hear Duke Nukem ?" no matter how he is represented

This is still worse than DNF.

I'm fine with PSA things, but...I just feel it doesn't fit to the Duke character well. :)

Even not take seriously didn't help a lot...it just weird.

The character feel a bit lonely, what about confronting him to the original Muppets, Duke have at least one line that fit each of the characters, like "Squeal, (Miss) Piggy, squeal!"

Perhaps because Duke is moving out of his comfort zone ?

Yeah and moving right into the Dookie zone. I am flabbergasted that Gearbox is okay with this.

What if Jon St. John has really become so bound to his character that he now desperately wants to reprise the role, but no new Duke game is coming, so he has to resort to this poor substitute?

That's undoubtedly true but why is Duke such a cuck in his mind? Reminds me of how nearly every counter-culture figure of the 80s and 90s morphed into a left-wing authoritarian over the years.

In the circumstances, I rather think he is taking the temperature and/or preparing the terrain for a new Duke game, on an other hand he is happy to release some promotionnal Duke Nukem material he made himself with love... I think that either he is not aware of any Duke game or he is simply under NDA, like for this news Dinosaur based game "Second Extinction" he is also voice-acting right now (and a lot of peoples have been thinking it would be "Duke Nukem Endangered Species")...

Maybe it’s a sales pitch to get a voice acting deal from Disney, for a Muppet movie. :)
If you pretend for a moment, you are around 7 and never heard of, let alone played Duke Nukem, it might even work, if you’d tone down the vocabulary.

No, I have not changed here, but, as I claim the right to make cash, JSJ has this right also.

He's just promoting himself. He's a self aggrandizer and Duke Nukem is his only claim to any sort of fame.

Literally no one thinks this. Endangered Species was cancelled over a decade ago, and released as a different game (Vivisector). Just no.

No. As always this is more an indirect comment about the poster than the character.

The closest you'll get is when he was primarily being written by a couple ladies and a nice man with nice intentions.

I remember when Duke was the sort of guy who despite being told not to, would weigh the risk of dying to an alien invasion vs hiding at home and letting his world be brought to its knees... and picked dealing with the alien invasion.

I'm trying to remember that time when Duke Nukem said something that was both misogynistic and funny. I'm drawing a blank. Did Duke deliver a standup routine by Andrew Dice Clay when I wasn't paying attention?

Imagine being part of a political movement so intellectually bankrupt that Jimmy of duke4.net is able to refute you with a simple semantic distinction.
