No, the Anti Piracy Screen is not match the original 4:3 resolution. It's not fit/out-of-place and clearly be fake.
Also, this shit may based on Super Mario 64 conspiracy theories meme that was somebody try to reuse that part as some sorts of mini-ARG or something recently by uploads lot of similar video of corrupted SM64 alpha version gameplay. (I'm not sure that part as I didn't follow that)

Why would you make up shit like that? Isn't it embarrassing enough to pirate a game you can get for 5 bucks these days?

Don't know, I'd consider it more embarrassing to pay for a game that's over 20 years old and not even have a fancy box to show for it.

Now if someone really want pirate a Duke3D, the internet will give the answer.
I would say using some better idea for that silly "every copy of XXXXXXXXX is personalized" meme, but not pirate a game for Duke3D, it just bad.

The background image is from the nuke symbol explosion animation that was made years later. Of course it's fake.
