It may not be exactly Duke3D weapons in 2k4, but a lot of them work.

THIS FUCKING EDITOR
It may be rather simple, but complex geometry like this would normally take me as
much as an hour to set up properly without compilation errors.
With this new editor, this took me all of five minutes.
I literally spent almost as much time taking these screenshots and a post as I did making this.
This thing is fucking awesome.

Btw, there's no actual 2D windows (top, side, front) in that editor, right? Only a 3D window in which you manipulate stuff?

By PC first-person shooter standards Halo is a mediocre game at best. And I actually have Halo, Halo 3 (terrible) and Reach (which is not too bad).

Halo was developed primarily for XBox and it's game controller's limitations, and by that standard it is a good series. There is no point playing Halo on PC or comparing it as a PC game.

Played some Quake 1 with graphics mods, reminded me of how much I still want that generations arena mod to come out
Spelling issues aside, 1.0 looked great. It's a shame it's not released yet and the only available one has only a handful of weapon animations.

PS: I bet San Andreas will take weeks.

Well, despite being GTA games both have different goals. While GTA IV focuses on storyline and realism GTA III is more arcade-y. I like both for different reasons.
Besides, I never finished it 100% and I'm on a completionist spree on these last few weeks.

The developers seem to have these weird punch lines on some of the weapons and armor. They were the same guys who made Diablo 1 & 2. Basically split off from Blizzard to make Runic Games, which made Torchlight 1 & 2.

I've been spending some time on Mass Effect again (+/- 15 hours); the repetitive nature of the side missions and the relative lack of character of the squad members starts to grate a bit, but the overall atmosphere and world design still makes this one of my favourite games of the past decade.
Just completed the primary mission on Feros and the shooting gallery on the Moon.

just in case this is FATE, a cancelled game of 1996, not the one of 2005.
The above was started by DogBone Software

Regarding the world design that may have been one of the things causing some of the technical issues with the game (texture popping). With Mass Effect 2 & 3, instead of having the Normandy as one big level in the first game they made it into around 30 smaller levels which were connected to one another. The CIC alone is one level. As is the bridge (where Joker is).
Not sure if that was the exact issue though.
