I have a transporting lift that I want to be activated by a dip switch , but I cant get it to work.
What I have is a dukeplus fuse puzzle, which activates a set of "star trek" doors (activator and activatorlocked both lo-tag 25) this part works fine.
After entering the lift there is a dipswitch on the wall (lo-tag 30) I have place an activator (lo-tag 30) in both the lift and the doors, now in theory this should acivate the doors (to close them) and simultaneously activate the lift.
BUT
It doesn't work! -very frustrating.
The doors close, as expected, but the lift goes nowhere. I know the lift is fuctioning because it works fine without the activator.
any ideas??

I didn't want to start a new thread so I hijacked this one for my Mapster32 question:
Using the 20090313 release installed in a separate, stand-alone sub-directory from the eduke32 which I use to play the game.
Mapster32 crashes when I try to insert a new vertex. It does it on any wall I try it on.
I am not even close to reaching the wall limit. Ctrl + Shift + Enter does not fix it.

Sorry if this a noob question, but what's the point of being a noob if I can't ask stupid questions?
