Another New Album, With a Duke Connection

In case anyone is interested, I've got another new album coming out on June 5th. The album is called Derivations, and it's got ten tracks, including one track with a secret link to Duke Nukem that'll remain secret until the album comes out.

I'm attaching a :60 second preview for those who want to get a sneak peek at some of the elements of the album.

Note that I'm releasing this through CD Baby again, and currently their physical distribution warehouse is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If they haven't reopened by June 5th, then only digital, streaming, and Bandcamp distribution will be available. However, I will have a supply of CDs, and I'll be doing another "signed & numbered" special release of 10 CDs through eBay, just like I did with Calibrations. Watch for info on pricing as the event approaches.

Also a small piece of information was revealed there: Lee Jackson's first non-game-music album, except for track 2, which was used at E3 Atlanta in 1998 as part of the Duke Nukem Forever secret demo

Edit: I'd say BHI (Super Cheesy Retro Mix) is my favourite track

If you haven't seen it on Discord, the Derivations Collector's Edition Signed & Numbered CDs are on sale on eBay. Just like the Calibrations CDs, the Derivations CDs are limited to ten, and as I write this, only 2 remain. They're selling for $50 each, and that gets you the CD, the signature & numbering, a dedication autograph, and one of my business cards inside the CD case. There will never be another set of signed & numbered Derivations CDs released. Please grab your copy today!

To my great surprise, the CD already arrived today - in my mailbox, no need to go to the customs to pick it up. No idea how you pulled this off, but it's fantastic! Didn't even have to pay the import tax like this.

Needless to say, it's awesome - both as an album and collector's item. I am listening to the tracks right now as I am writing this, and for that purpose I have activated my external DVD drive which I haven't even been using until now (never needed it before). Groovy tracks with a lot of diversity!

Thanks a lot for creating this, Lee. Best wishes and especially health to you and your family!

PS: If there's going to be a third album (trilogies are always a good idea), count me in.

All of the CDs sold out and have been delivered! Only one had a problem during delivery - it got smashed by an ever-so-thoughtful postal employee. I've created a version 2.0 disc for that purchaser and mailed it via International Priority Mail (i.e., stronger packaging) - it's en route to them as I type this.

I want to thank everyone who bought a Derivations CD. I've already re-invested the proceeds back into my studio software so I can make more, higher quality music. This wouldn't be possible without your support. Much obliged!
