However, it currently does not appear to be possible to determine the currently highlighted (and selected) newgamecustom menu and submenu entry in CON scripts.
With the default Duke 3D episode selection, this is made possible through the userdef member 'm_volume_number', it would be great if something similar were exposed for the custom menu.
Possible use cases would be:
- Displaying images and text to accompany the menu entry, such as episode or mutator description.
- Redirecting to a different menu when selecting the entry in combination with EVENT_CHANGEMENU (like for example: the Usermap menu, which is normally obscured by newgamechoices)
