Switching from Polymer to Polymost after changing the screen resolution screws the palette up  "Results differ depending on where you execute the bug"

#1

This problem started occurring with revision r6777 and can be reproduced in r8533. To reproduce it, you will need to do exactly the following:

  • Launch the executable with Polymer enabled. This is imperative, the bug will not occur without this.
  • Switch the screen resolution from your current one to any other arbitrary screen resolution.
  • Finally, switch the renderer to Polymost. (switching to Classic does not trigger it)

Deviating from this procedure will not trigger the bug. If done while inside the main menu (without a game running) it will result in a black screen, but you can still control the game.
If done while inside a game (e.g. E1L1), this occurs:

This is most likely some kind of palette problem. The colors change depending on where the bug is executed ingame.
