Can I make the inventory icon pop-up go away?

I'm using screen_size 0 and althud YES, but I have my own custom HUD I'm drawing at the same time.

Problem is, when the player changes inventory item, it causes a line of inventory icons to pop-up and it overlaps with my HUD. Is there any way to disable it?

EDIT: Answer -- you set invdisptime to 0
