Hi Mark, very nice to meet you. Yep, that's me! Wow! The pics look awesome and it is quite a compliment. Thank you. Looking forward to hopefully seeing more. I always wanted to finish it, I had started Plunder & Pillage fully intending on making it into a full game, but then 9/11 happened and I actually modified the P&P mod into Quest for Al-Qa'eda.

I dusted it off last week, and started tinkering around with it again. The most recent "Date modified" on the files was in 2003, hard to believe it's been that long. I barely remember the keystrokes. I downloaded mapster, last time I was using it was all in DOS with the original Build and EditArt that came on the Duke Nukem CD. Awesome to see so many tools and tutorials out there, would have saved a ton of time in 1996 when I first started tinkering with it. Now I need those tutorials to remember it. Funny story in 1998 I got expelled from my high school for a semester for making a Duke mod where you fight against Nazis who took over the school, bad timing since it was a map of the school and I released it a week before Columbine, that's when I was most into Build. So awesome to see such a vibrant Build community ~25 years later. I'll post some updates down the road. I'm making a super cheesy and retro short game, my goal is to make an arcade style game with Build with the old fashioned arcade joystick and big buttons. Not sure if it's been done before, haven't found much on the forums yet but I'll post the question when the project develops a little more, I imagine someone has done that before.

Well, if you find a sustained interest in mapping again I might want some help continuing the facelift of Plunder. I'm in the middle of another Team project right now so it might be another month or 2 before I get back to it.
