7392 producing unformatted log file

As the title states...
EDIT: Its only in notepad. If I copy/paste into notepad++ its formatted.

It seems EDuke has gotten rid of the DOS style newlines. Are you running Win7? IIRC MS has finally started supporting the one-byte Unix-style newlines. My Win10 Notepad shows the log correctly.

Notepad only handles /r/n newlines, it's unable to handle the /n format that is used everywhere outside of windows. Only recently did win10 get an announcement that it will finally support them. I recommend using notepad++ and if you're in a pinch, wordpad will help.

So its not considered a bug and will not be fixed? I just want to be sure before I change file associations to assign a different program.
Does this mean that for years, Linux and Mac users didn't have the luxury of a built-in log file reader like notepad? So why wasn't this change made years ago?

OK. I thought oasiz was also a dev and it didn't sound like he was saying a fix was coming.
