BFG 9000 made a slight mistake in etiquitte..one that a lot of people who spend most of their time in Chat rooms or live messenging make when they are not used to forums....but that doesnot justify the way Piano Man jumped on him.
Piano Man comes out looking not very good here. Pointing out to somebody they made a mistake is one thing, just flaming him is another. You have to judge intent.

sorry for the mistake.
i actually use a lot of forums but i didn't know there was an etiquette to posting on them, i just figured that this was a smaller knit community and wanted to say "hey" rather than just popping up with an opinion or comment in a topic.
but anyway thanks for welcoming me to the forum guys.

So when two people (being you and Piano Man) are specifically bothered by something it suddenly becomes the right way to post?
On the other hand.. If people would create "HELLO" threads daily that would get a bit annoying.
