We haven't. I've offered Eddy hosting three times over the last two years and he's not needed it. :)

And I appreciate it. :D I committed myself to R.T.C.M. so thats my second home now. And working on two Duke sites is enough for me, thank you.

Hey guys, we're adding svn repositories to the list of services available to hosted sites. So, if you're looking to do a mod and need an easy way to get everything to everyone on your team, this is it.

You need to:

a) come up with a decent site (don't use complex blogging software for what's essentially a download page!)
 release it in a format that's even going to work with EDuke32; don't make people transcode it themselves if they want it to actually work in the game.

Do that, and you can have a hosted site.

I don't really have any plans to make a site but it might be a good idea to list some free hosting services that people with hopes of getting hosted on Duke4 can use. Or do you guys accept zips with everything in them?

that can be done quite easily.

May I have one? Since I have only a homepage in Russian, making a new English resource for my Duke stuff must be nice.

Sure. Can you fill out the "get hosted" form on duke4.net? Makes it easier to set up.

I've done the main page, the rest isn't ready yet. So far http://lzg.duke4.net/ doesn't redirect to this page, how to fix this?

Confirmed. According to Avira AntiVir LEBuild v1.0.3 contains "Dropper.Gen".

Wtf... Kaspersky doesn't find anything... I'll try to reupload that stuff. It looks like my computer was infected recently.

Upd: That index.html (its modify date was December 24) has a strange script placed after the </html> tag which is absent in my local version. Now I uploaded the fixed version. I think the site's password must be changed.

LEBuild.exe contained in http://lezsite.narod...les/leb103i.rar is still reported as infected by Avira AntiVir.
(No complaints from ClamWin)

That's a generic signature that can be triggered by stuff like packed executables, et cetera.

I've just checked LEBuild's archive on my Russian site with Kaspersky and it found no viruses.

Awesome!
I was hoping there was a place like this! Thank you for providing this resource, as I was searching around wondering where I could find some maps to play.

Here's my site:
http://www.paramulta...com/duke3d.html
redirected from http://www.paramultart.comyr.com/.

Please let me know if my site gets accepted or not.
If it does, I will start making more (and better) maps in my spare time, as the ones I have up there now are pretty old. :P

By the way, I just traveled over here from the 3DRealms forums, so hello everybody. :D

Instead of having some plain website that has only 4 maps on it you could just submit them to

http://dukerepository.com/ (Plus most maps are found there anyhow or MSDN)

Where they would get more views IMO.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that the hosting service here at Duke4 has been upgraded pretty significantly over the past few days. Everything has moved to a new server (these forums included) on hardware that's much, much faster than what we had before. Everyone should see much faster page loads and potentially faster downloads.

Thanks to Plagman for the continued donation of a badass server!
